Dear Friends,

Once again a sincere thank you for the fantastic success, growth, and continuing recognition that Astronomy Delight! has achieved over the past several years.

We are truly humbled by the incredible response we have received from parents, educators, professionals, and children themselves as to our programs, methods, and philosophies regarding our creative and innovative educational programs. We have to admit that we never expected to be able to have so much fun while encouraging and inspiring people of all walks of life to explore the final frontier of the imagination! This year is destined to be one of the most exciting in our company’s short seven-year history!  

The addition of our new franchise locations throughout the United States in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and California, combined with the launch of our Learning Delight! Company programs at selected franchise locations, are truly destined to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to experience the joy of wonder and learning throughout all the markets we serve.

But our excitement does not end there as we begin year 2007. This year Astronomy Delight!  enters the global arena of the astronomy and space tourism industry with the announcement of our Astronomy Delight!  Resorts of Inspiration Program. Selected, invitation only, upscale resorts throughout the world will be invited to participate with our company, and those quality, dedicated, and visionary astronomy and education companies who have aligned with us in providing our unique portfolio of fun, exciting, and inspirational offerings.

All of us throughout the Astronomy Delight!! and Learning Delight! organizations are humbled by the possibilities, which the coming year presents to us. A far cry from the short years ago when I trudged through the cold of the northeast winters with an 8” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to provide a scout program, a star party, or a home school class. When our website consisted of three pages, my only associate was my Basset Hound Wilbur, and Astronomy Delight! was but a vision. Today, we have expanded to locations throughout the United States; have on-going commitments with progressive and innovative public schools, scouts, camps, home school cooperatives, and prestigious private academies.  We write our words of wit and wisdom for magazines and newspapers, and are sought after guest speakers at numerous organizations, conventions, and schools. All of which could not have been made possible without the literally thousands of people who we have provided our services to and have spread the word.

We sincerely thank the Mom’s and Dad’s, the children who we have taught, the professional educators, the PTA volunteers, the dedicated home school groups and co-ops, the giants of the astronomical community such as Al and Steve Nagler of Tele Vue Optics and others, George Mann of Science and Hobby, The Fresh Air Fund of New York, John Vargo of Boating on the Hudson Magazine, and so many, many others who have provided us support, encouragement, and guidance throughout the years.

On behalf of all of us in the Astronomy Delight! and Learning Delight! organizations, a sincere thank you, and best wishes for the coming year.
