regarding our limited, interest free, franchise financing  program

1. Why are you offering your program on a limited basis and how long will it continue?

Answer: Our initial franchise offering has exceeded our expectations by the number of people who have inquired about the possibilities of owning an Astronomy Delight! franchise. Many have requested the ability to be able to finance a portion of the cost, and we have been in the process of developing a simple, no hassle method whereby we can accommodate them. We are presently involved in purchase negotiations with several prospects and feel now is a good time to be able to offer such a program to everybody. We expect to either withdraw or significantly change the terms of our financing program sometime within the year.
 

2. Are their any additional costs associated with your limited interest free financing program?

Answer:  There may be. Those who want to finance their franchise purchase may have to pay for the expenses incurred by Astronomy Delight! in investigating the prospective franchisee's  credit with the reporting bureaus, and the cost of verifying information provided in their references. In addition, the applicant may have to pay for our attorney's fee to set up your payment contract. We may impose a non-refundable application fee to pay for the credit and reference checking expenses, and include our attorney's fee in the final purchase contract. We will provide you good faith estimates of these expenses during our discussions.

3. What if I don't qualify for the minimum financing?

Answer: If you are serious in obtaining a franchise and we at Astronomy Delight! feel you are a good prospect to join our team, we are going to make every effort to assist you. You may qualify for additional terms and we will offer those terms to you.

4. I have encountered some rough times in the past due to divorce, sickness, layoff's, unemployment periods, Etc. but I am really enthused by the prospect of owning my own business, and I am extremely committed to mutual success. Will you take that into consideration?

Answer: Believe us when we say we have been there, done it, and even got the deluxe, super-size tee shirt with the gold monogram trim! We take everything into consideration including those unfortunate "challenging" times you may have experienced in life. Just play it straight, be honest, and let us know of your situation.

5. How will my credit and references be investigated?

Answer: We may contract with one of the recognized reporting agencies and let them investigate and report to us.

6. If I do not presently qualify for any financing, and my situation changes in the future, will I be offered the same deal?

Answer: No. This is a strictly limited offering which may be withdrawn without notice. In addition, the cost of the franchise will substantially increase most likely within the year.

7. If I put down a larger initial payment, may I finance the balance over a longer period of time than 24 months?

Answer: No. 24 months is the maximum term and there are no exceptions.

8. How are financing payments made under this program?

Answer: Payments are made directly into our company bank account via electronic funds transfer, credit card, or in the case of default, liens and garnish.

9. Are their late payment fee's and penalties?

Answer: No. Providing there are reasonable circumstances for the delay and you have been deemed credit worthy by the reporting agencies. We strive to develop a personal relationship with all our franchisees as that is one of the founding principles of our company. We place a high value on your success as well as our own. But, we reserve the right to determine what constitutes reasonable circumstances. However, keep in mind that this is a very generous program offering being made by Astronomy Delight! and is based upon good faith and timely action being displayed by all.

10. You are giving special financing and pricing consideration to Veterans. Why can't I receive the same as a non-veteran?

Answer: Astronomy Delight! is strongly committed to our nation's Veterans, and we believe in the policy of Veterans preference for those who have served and given so much to our nation.  The company founder is also a Veteran who served in Viet Nam. (OK?)
