Funding an Astronomy Delight! enrichment program or assembly can be a concern for many schools, administrators, teachers, parents, enrichment coordinators and PTA committee's in today's world of budgetary constraints, wasteful spending and tight wallets! So let's be candid and tell it like it is.

Astronomy Delight! is a program designed for the more progressive and innovative parent and school district who appreciate and understand what a very highly unique, educational, and inspirational learning opportunity we have to offer their students. We are very candid in expressing our opinion that our programs are NOT designed for every school, and that we should never be compared to those companies or providers who offer the same "run of the mill" "classroom redundant", "demonstration" "recreational" or "amusement" type fare or the like when it comes to providing educational services. We are partners with YOU. We are partners with the PARENTS, and most importantly partners with your STUDENTS when it comes to furthering better education.

Astronomy Delight! is a learning program. One which is designed to INSPIRE those who participate to learn more! A founding principal of our organization is to provide programs, topics and instruction far above and beyond what children will learn in a daily classroom environment in a fun and inspirational way whereby regardless of age, children will be able to understand and comprehend what is taught. We believe the more progressive and innovative schools will recogn

ize that what we offer, although sometimes provided at a premium, is more than a good investment in their children's educational experience. Our program offerings are designed to not only inspire life long learning within the students themselves, but allow the more progressive and innovative schools, PTA's, and parents to achieve the recognition they deserve

Progressive and innovative schools often have access to resources unlike other more ordinary institutions. There is a higher level of dedication, professionalism, and commitment by all associated with them to provide students and their parents the best educational experiences possible. They are creative problem solvers who often work together as dedicated teams to ensure success. They make good use of resources and opportunities other schools and institutions may over look or fail to recognize when providing unique programs such as Astronomy Delight!. Whether an administrator, teacher, PTA committee member, or parent, those in the progressive and innovative schools "go the extra mile" when it comes to excellence in education.

It has been our experience that often there exist committed parents who have the financial means to fund entire program offerings for the benefit of their own children, their peers and for the furthering of better education within their own school districts. Many businesses and corporations are anxious to demonstrate their desire to foster good corporate citizenship by providing financial help and assistance when approached by parents, PTA committees, and schools to provide unique educational opportunities for the children in the surrounding communities where they do business. The educational system itself, through BOCES, state grants, retired teacher associations, community clubs, Rotaries, and alumni associations can truly be
"Angels Of Better Education" when financial concerns arise. And of course Astronomy Delight! fund raising programs are always available.

Astronomy is a fantastic science. The science of both fact and imagination. We custom design programs which can encompass virtually every educational discipline. From science, math, history, philosophy, story telling, art, role-play and the like to conform with financial assistance programs which require such components be included within the offerings.

But, angels are like stars. To appreciate what they can offer the mind you must not only seek them out, but summon them with utmost dedication and commitment. At times the early astronomers asked both king and queen, the wealthy and the middle class for financial assistance to explore the wonders of the universe. Astronomers at the turn of the century found the means to erect large observatories by sharing their enthusiasm with the large and small of industry, and modern day explorers receive help to continue their quest for knowledge by creatively searching the variety of financial assistance and sponsorship opportunities found throughout their communities and on the web.

Without exception, those who have sought both angels and stars have always succeeded!
